No food is injurious unless it is taken in excess. So if Coffee is taken as a normal drink it can't harm the life.

OK, my dad is 63 and has been drinking coffee since he was very young (around 10 years old). I cannot remember a time when he has been more than a few minutes (yes, literally) without coffee. He owns a restaurant style Bunn coffe maker so that the coffee making can keep up with him and my mother (although she only drinks a few cups a day). He has no health issues related to drinking coffee and only suffers from asthma which he was born with.
I have never heard of coffee causing health problems!?!

The Harvard School of Public Health study of 125,000 individuals who drank 6 to 8 cups of caffienated coffee daily actually found it lowered the risk of type II diabetes risk 50% in men and 30% in women.
Another study found that non coffee drinkers are five times more likely to develop Parkinson's disease than coffee drinkers and those who drank 3 to 4 cups of coffer per day had an 80% lower risk of cirrhosis of the liver and a 25% less chance of contracting colon cancer when compared to drinking no coffee at all.
Study after study finds that coffee contains the same type of antioxidants found in green tea and fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants protect our bodies against the cell damage caused by free radicals-a major cause of aging and disease.

Coffee, like a lot of foods, can be good for you in moderation but is bad in excess.
Four cups a day or fewer contains flavoniods, a little caffeine to perk you up, and the ability to lower blood sugar and blood pressure.
More than that, and you're onto a deadly potion.

Your basic assumption (causes health problems later in life) is not true. It has actually breen proven that caffeinated coffee can prevent or delay the onset of Type 2 diabetes in many adults.

anything you do 4 time's a day or more for over a year,is going to end up being bad for your health. I drink coffee because it calms me down & I like the flavor(Really). Most other people drink it to keep them awake on thir 8 to 12 hour shifts at work.

Technically speaking, breathing can cause health problems, sex definately can, eating almost anything can. Alchohol is a highly toxic substance and global warming may have us all dead from skin cancer anyway.
Coffee tastes good and is sociable.
So why not?
