I have a kodak easyshare z740... outstanding camera for the price...around 270.00 6 months ago. I use the video setting to record my guitar work for later revue. the mic in this camera will pick up a conversation in normal vocal tones at 25 to 30 yards crystal clear. i took it to the gun range and you could hear us discussing who shoots better down range... i have dropped this camera from chest height twice and left it on the cowl of my truck and watched it hit the ground when i took a corner. it still works perfect. a 512 mb card will get you 28 minutes of 640x480
or twice that at 320.
later wolfe
