This is a question about chaos and balance. If you are a believer then God wants you to learn how to keep your balance in chaotic situations. Why? Because those around are watching you, seeing how you handle and react in life. When they see you in control and calm through storms, they see strength and feel safe near you. Then they want the secrets of the balance you have. Learning balance comes from learning the truths of God. He will never leave you or forsake you. He is the Almighty. Angels surround you. There tons of these promises to learn. Become a master of these promises and practice your balance.

Those who are in businesses that have serious and inherent dangers involved (like aviation, space flight, auto racing, construction, ocean shipping) keep incidents and accidents down to a bare minimum by taking to heart the following rule:

"Bad things will definitely happen unless you take constant and specific precautions to prevent them."

When things seem to be trending downwards in your life, it's best to adopt a similar policy .... without delay.

1) Take responsibility. Accept the possibility that your own judgment or actions may have contributed to the undesireable outcome.

2) Analyze the problem. Attempt to determine why these things have happened and what you might do to prevent them, or similar things, from happening again.

3) Simplify your life. Cut back on non-essential activities and projects until the determination has been made, and things are once again under control.

4) Look to the future. Force yourself to plan ahead and think ahead, even when attending to relatively ordinary and mundane matters.

5) Get serious. Understand that the next incident could result in the loss of your life, the life of someone you love, or both.

6) Get help. If you're not sure that you can accomplish this yourself, get help from someone you trust, and who seems to have things under control.

7) Be careful. Stay careful. Live long and prosper.

Without adopting a personal program similar to the one above, the odds are that things will tend to get worse, not better.

I speak from experience.

God bless you.

Sure. I'm assuming you are a Christian.
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
(Sometimes stuff just happens)

Or
Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, [and] exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Being a Christian is a life laced with hardship. I do not have a clue where these "prosperity Gospels" came from. Not from the Bible I read,
Good news is that you would not be having all this trouble if GOD was not molding you into the image of Jesus.

GOD bless ya.

In life there are very few things that we can completely control. What can I say sh*t happens. But in being able to control our selves we don't always see exactly what that means. It means not only controling our thought, words and deeds, but also changing our outlook when the chips are down, when sh*t happens make fertilizer. Then realizing the importance of relationships in our life, who and what we allow around us determines most of the events that impact our lives. By this I mean you control your own environment. You choose your friends, the places you hang out and when and where you are. That means that even if you are cool and collected and you hang out with people with lots of Drama in their lives likely hood is that its going to add a little drama to your life. Actions always have equal but oppisite reactions. We can not always see the cause but we definately see the effect.

Your own actions caused these things. True you weren't to know you would be stabbed but you did know that carrying brass knuckles was an offence so you have to accept responsibility for that. The wisest advice is think before you act.

Blame the Devil I guess. I can relate to that too. Last week, I was walking downtown and a guy was in front of me. His wallet fell out of his pocket without his knowledge. I picked it up and ran to him to give it back to him. The next day my home was invaded. What's up with that? You do good for someone and then get screwed.

seems as though the wheel is at the bad cycle at present. just have faith and keep your chin up as there will be a turning of the wheel and then everything will be all right again. life is like a wheel and moves in cycles. all one has to do is be patient for none of the cycles are permanent.

Well, I don't exactly have any explanations for why these things are happening to you. However, I think tat you should know that you have already taken the first step to getting better by asking. =)

Turn to God. Many times we have to hit rock-bottom before we look to God. God wants your attention. Now that all of this is occuring you tend to turn to God humbled and broken.
