Split ends can never be cured. Have a good trim and concentrate on getting the condition of your hair back.

A hairdresser ruined my hair years ago and I had to visit a trichologist for treatment. He told me that split ends will only travel up the hair shaft so get them cut off. Then I used AVEDA ELIXIR leave in conditioner. You use the size of a ten pence piece on shoulder length hair and do not need to use a styling product. It costs £18 for 500mls but lasts me a year. This works out much cheaper than normal conditioner and serums etc.

1.) Remove styling product residue which can dull hair and make it look damaged, you can use a clarifying shampoo or apple cider vinegar as a rinse followed by shampoo.

2.) once you have removed product build up,find a shampoo that does not contain Sodium laurel sulfate use products that do as not contain synthetic ingredients because these will build up on your hair leading to limpness, and even loss of hair.

3.)whenever you blow dry your hair be sure to use a diffuser and and with a leave in conditioner or conditioning styling product.

4.) Be sure you are getting enough protein in your diet, and minerals through things like meat, nuts, and beans, essential fats like flax, fish and olive oil, minerals from green vegetables, spinach and seaweeds.take a balanced multi-vitamin and extra biotin, zinc and silica this will help stimulate hair growth from the inside out.

5.)get regular trims, thin hair can become damaged at the ends very easily keep your hair trimmed regularly so your ends stay protected,do not brush hair when wet,use a wide toothed comb instead and be careful thin hair is fragile and will snap easily, don't use elastics or harsh ponytails loose hairstyles or up in a bun are best.

you cant cure split ends but you can try and prevent them splitting further you try split end repair by tigi its a great treatment and very moisturing also don't use elastic bands or hair ties that have a metal bit in it as these both snag the hair. dnt brush ur hair wen its wet and only comb it with a wide tooth comb and smoother in conditioner before. Use conditioner on it every day

I'm afraid you can't. There are hair products out there that will help to prevent them, or appreantly this is what they do, but without a hair cut or should I say trim you will get split ends.

A good hairdresser will only take off what you want.

have the split ends trimmed, this need not actually change the length of your hair as only the split ones are cut. go and see a gd hairdresser

The only way to get rid of them is to cut them off but there are some products that will help minimize the appearance. Short of super glue there isn't anyway to get the 2 ends back together and I don't recommend the super glue.

You can't, not permanently. Temporarily its best to use a serum or conditioning treatment to assist things then use straighteners to stop them all sticking out when dried. after that apply some more serum to the end to "glue" the split ends together.

You can buy products to help prevent them but you need to have it trimmed or it will split all the way up and the next Q you'll be asking...."What to do about the frizzies" Go make your appointment
