Yeah, it sounds like he or she is seeing someone else and does not want you as a partner, maybe as a sideline to pay for nights out or whatever! If u take out the phone connection it still rings for the person phoning, but the recipient cannot hear it obviously!
With mobiles it is easy to press the busy buttion or refuse calls from a certain number. Try hiding your number when u phone her or his mobile!

That's no reason for breaking up. There has to be another reason and that just sounds like a good excuse (which it isn't) to that person.

well it is very illogical...it might get aggrivating but why would you break up over something neither of you can help,,,,call the phone company....

Maybe it was the receiver that was broken in this case but the dumper doesn't sound like he or she has much class.
