I have severe sinus problems. I've seen an ENT doctor and a neurologist with no results. Currently I am suffering from what I think is ragweed allergy. My only syptoms are severe sinus pain and general sick feelings (nausea, temperature fluctuation, fatigue) I use a nasal spray and take Zyrtec daily. They help a little. Any ideas, suggestions? I am particularly interested in trying some homeopathic remedies.

I have ragweed allergy and the nausea etc seem unusual to me, though it can manifest differently for different people. If you haven't already I highly recommend you have full testing performed by an allergist, they will test you for over 100 substances including ragweed, it is very helpful to isolate the problem.

In general you can use homeopathy through self diagnosis if your symptoms are relatively simple and you are able to distinguish betweeen symptom profiles for similar remedies. Each homeopathic remedy is very specific as to the symptoms that it harmonizes, if you take the wrong one it won't help, and if you take the wrong one many times or at a high concentration it can actually make you sicker. So it is most important to determine the correct remedy. If you find out from the allergist that it is indeed a pollen allergy, histaminium should work well. If that is not the cause, you will need to do more work to determine the cause. I would recommend a homeopath obviously for homeopathic diagnosis. However you might also want to consider seeing a naturopath, they tend to be better at diagnosis and have more tools at their disposal - concentrated herbal medicines, and most use homeopathy too.

Good luck!

Take TRANSFER FACTOR PLUS. Sounds new? This is not a synthetic drug, not a vitamin, not a herb. It's a patented scientific transfer of molecule from cow's colostrum and chicken's egg yolk into a single capsule. This is the most powerful food supplement i have ever known. Visit these web sites below and they will explain you everything.

Onething I have discovered through my research: you do not want to use a nasal spray daily. It inhibits your body's natural reactions. Try to keep it for ocassional usage. Hot green tea at night has been helpful to me. So has peppermint tea. It has an effect like taking a Hall's cough drop. Good luck.
