Here is a site listing the calories and carbs. Basic vodka, rum, whiskey, etc have no carbs.

See heres the thing about alcohol: Initially, it will higher your blood sugar, but later on (ie, when u wait up in the morning) it will have lowered your blood sugar.

Usually things like alcopops contain a lot of sugar. Try to avoid those if you can. If you're drinking say Rum, whiskey or vodka with a mixer, make it a diet one.

Always remember to eat something before going to bed, such as a sanwich, some toast, pizza or a kabab etc.

most of your straight up liquors like vodka, plain rum, whiskey, etc have no carbs/sugars but mixers, schnapps, anything sweet all do & the alcohol can cause hypoglycemic reactions...heres a site to visit that you can order this book for only $7 & it has carb/calori/& fat listings for about ANYTHING you could possibly ever need to know including a section on alcoholic beverages, premixed, bottled, beer, ALL of them & a fast food section, I swear by this pocket sized life saver...go to www.calorieking.com, you can order on line or most your larger chain book stores carry it, or if you see a nutritionist they will be able to get you one

rum has none but please be careful alcohol dehydrates you and can damage your kidneys and when this happens to diabetics you can't reverse it easily.
