Well, first of all you have to know that i'm a very healthy girl (20 years old). I don't do drugs, I've never cheated on anyone and I take every relationship that I have very serious. I've been dating a wonderful guy for 8 months already. But, i had a talk about HIV/AIDS at school the other day that is killing me!!! I dont think this guy has hiv, but i could have been exposed to the virus. My last boyfriend was a jerk, he cheated on me, he did drugs, and he has sex without protection... I know its my fault because I let him! What should I do?? I know I MUST take the HIV test but I'm VERY VERY worried!!! This is killing me!!! I don't deserve this!!!!! I'm a good girl!!!! Should I talk to my ex boyfriend so he lets me know if he has ever taken an HIV test or something? Do I let him know my worries???

There is really no point of talking to the ex about it now, especially since you said he was a jerk and lied and cheated. He might lie about HIV if he has it, some people are jerks like that.
You should go get an HIV test done, especially because of his behavior. At least this way you will know for sure if you have it or not.
And everyone thinks "this can happen to me!" but believe me, it can! I always thought of myself as a good girl, never did or tried drugs, never drank, you name it. But, at 17 years old I got genital herpes and HPV from my, so I thought, committed boyfriend of 4 years! Then I developed cervical cancer later that year from my HPV. So, it can happen to anyone! Even a healthy, good girl!
Good luck!

First of all take the time and see if you check out clean then you can tell him to take the test that way you both will know
You do not know about his sex history and if this new boyfriend use protection and if he is safe did his old girl friend you never know who who ,just because he isn't cheating now

I think that both of you and your boyfriend needs to get tested. Even if you didn't have the ex-boy friend that did dumb ****. Because you never know who or what someone else has done before they met you. If you know what I mean! And good people do get this disease and know matter how good you are and even how safe you are it can happen. So I would be safe and get tested. If caught early it's a very treatable disease with meds and you could live a long life. So don't get down on your self and GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DECISION

Yes, I think its very important. Even if your afraid he might snap at you for not trusting him, you need to tell him that unless he knows medically, written by a doctor on a piece of paper that he doesn't have ANY sexually transmitted diseases, then no sex. However, the only 100% safe way is abstinence, so if you're getting too worried about this lately, I highly suggest waiting for someone you're going to do this dirty deed with for the rest of your life. I know it sounds prude-y, but the way I see it is: I'll be made fun of for being a virgin, but at least I'm not going to be itching my crotch ath age thirty and wondering how long I have left with my kids, or if I can have any kids at all. Clarify with this guy: No test=no sex. Be safe!!

First of all, stop worrying. That fixes nothing at all...Go get a test done on yourself, forget past boyfriends, go get yourself checked. Second, do not have any sex with anyone until you know the results. The odds are that you are clean, but that is not something you want to gamble with. Don't be nervous or shy, go get the test done...If it is negative, it will put your mind at ease for good.
