For type I and type II diabetics (and those who are overweight and could potentially become diabetic). Copy and bookmark the webpages I‘ve listed below… they are invaluable for those with diabetes and/or weight problems...
I've found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. Some folks who became diabetic due to poor diet and obesity are effectively cured by following the advice in this book. I'm a type II (inherited), but it helps all types, especially those who became diabetic due to poor eating habits. It's by an author who has really done his homework, Patrick Quillin, Phd. It's called, "The Diabetes Improvement Program". I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it's the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day. I have been off Metformin for as much as a week, but this was with vigorous exercise. Many, what I call, non-hereditary type IIs (those that don't have a close relative who had it) have gotten off medication completely, just with diet, exercise, and supplements. So, in some instances, it most certainly can be 'effectively' cured. Read more about it here:

The book explains what's going on in our system and what to do about it. It's really easy and inexpensive. It's basically diet, supplements, and exercise. For example, did you know that cinnamon helps blood sugar absorption? It also controls cholesterol and triglycerides. This is according to the USDA:

For men: Are you suffering from erectile dysfunction? I was. Yes, WAS. Now that everything's under control, I'm able to have nearly normal sex again. I've also put together a little webpage highlighting some of the things I've learned here:

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Check out www.hufa.org - and read the yeast info. Imbalanced blood sugars can cause a yeast infestation - and a yeast infestation produces by products that can further imbalance blood sugar.
In the library link there are books with anti-yeast diets. These diets are also good for diabetics, because you need to stop eating sugar to control the yeast.
I am on a yeast cleanse regimen, and because I am not as good as I should be, it is taking me 9+ months to get under control.

Firstly go to your GP, if you have already done this then follow the course recommended by them, take the medication,.. go for walks 2-3km a day,if you are overweight ,loose it !... and watch how much carbohydrate you eat and what type.....a note ....you may not like to know but if you do not look after yourself in these ways ...a horrible future is almost certainly on its way for you .
It will damage your eyes, heart, blood vessel's, kidneys, almost all of your organs , as well as possible leg amputations
So take much care.......its in your hands ....
there are many very useful sites to help you ...
One would be .....http://www.mendosa.com/
Also see ...just_ducky's recommendations above this post .
