Some of your symptoms are simular to diabetes, although they may not always indicate diabetes, they can be symptomatic to a lot of others things.
I suggest you go to a Dr asap. The long you leave it undiagnosed and untreated, the more likely you are to suffer with diabetes complications which trust me, aint pretty!
Tell your dr your symptoms, he'll run some tests and hopefully give you a diagnosis.
As for the ankle pain, I can't explain that, but I would certainly get that checked out. You don't mention what type of pain it is, so it could be a number of things.
Good luck

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

No harm in getting checked. There are also urine strips sold in drug stores that will
change color if your blood sugar is way over the limit. That's how I found out.
I was tired all the time, literally exhausted to the point I could not move.
So hungry but losing weight even though I was eating more.
Diabetics are more apt to develop foot problems after having uncontrolled diabetes for a long time. The secret to avoiding those kind of complications are; exercise to keep good circulation in your body, and keeping the blood sugar within the normal range.

RE:
Symptoms of diabetes?
Okay, I've read all the symptoms of diabetes, dizziness: check
Headaches: check thirst: check
But I also was told that foot pain/ankle pain is worse in people with diabetes than those who don't have it, or they are more apt to develop foot problems.
I'm just wondering if I...

Get checked and put your self at ease. Foot and ankle pain increase only after years of neglecting your diabetes.
As for loving chocolate most of use do also.
The true facts about diabetes are fairly simple, it can kill you but usually after many many years of being ignored. Blurring sight and frequent trips to the restroom are usual symptoms as well as those you mentioned.
I have had diabetes for about 30 years as a result of being sprayed by agent orange in Vietnam. It has made my life a little more difficult than most peoples, but I have learned to manage.

It is so easy to get checked for diabetes. Ask your doctor to run an A1C test and this will tell give them a good idea of how your sugar is for a longer amount of time. Many times, doctors will check your sugar fasting, meaning you haven't eaten anything. The best way to get an accurate idea of what your sugar is doing is to check it before eating and then again two hours after eating.

Most diabetes symptoms that are noticed are the thirst and, of course, constantly to the bathroom, and unusual hunger. The best way to make sure is to get the Dr. to check your fasting blood sugar. Also, if you are craving chocolate, you may want to have your iron levels checked as well.Chocolate provides iron.

Irritability is one of the most miserable symptoms. (Hubby has diabetes) We are stong on eating protein, meats and cheeses every two to three hours plus veggies and fruits. Primarily no sugar added items. It keeps his moods level.
We eat starches only occasionally. The less we eat of them the less we care.
The weird ankle/knee pain could be some form of osteoarthritis. My Rheumatoid Arthritis started with knee swelling and then severe pain.
Your Dr. will be able to do testing and help diagnose the problem.
Keep a written list of the symptoms and take them to him..
