Do you mean Tanzania or Tasmania?

Not sure what they eat in Tasmania, but in Tanzania, you get a lot of foods with carbs. My favorite, ugali, is made from corn flour. I recommend mixing 1:1 corn flour with cassava flour for a sweeter taste. Basically, boil several cups of water. Slowly stir in flour, about 1/3 cup at a time until you have something slightly thicker than grits (Southern food). You'll then allow it to sit for a second before shaking the pan in a circle to get a ball/ovoid of the mixture. This is now ugali. Eat it with boiled greens, beans or just by itself.
