It is made with salted cod, which needs to soak in water for a day, to remove most of the salt. Change the water a few times.
It's a simple boiled meal. Cooked it in a pot of water with vegetables (usually kale), potatoes and eggs. It is normally accompanied by cruets olive oil and vinegar and salt and pepper for indivdual seasoning. Some people like to mash the potatoes and eggs on their plates and add the condiments.
