i am on the pill at the moment but i had impetigo so i have to use antibiotic cream to cure it, my boyfriend said we shouldnt have sex because the cream will be going into my bloodstream. Is he right?

Chill with the sex if he thinks it is a danger to you that shows he is concerned but ask a doctor

This isn't true, but I guess I understand his thinking. Oral antibiotics can interfere with your birth control pills, but antibiotic cream does not. If any antibiotic from this cream got into blood stream it would trace.

NO antibiotic cream will not affect your birth controll pill

I would ask my doctor or read the whole label on the cream till then just "hang out"

Your boyfriend is an idiot.
He just wants sex.
Use a condom.
If you don't know enough about the drugs you are putting in your body and what it does, you are too young to be having sex.

I dont know but the only way not to get pregnet is to not have sex pills dont always work.
