I do not know if insulin does, but diabetes can.
Lack of blood circulation can have a very "flaccid" effect on sexual abilities.

Based on my experience its not the insulin (i'm also on 70/30). Sorry man, its the diabetes that's the culprit and in my case (not ashamed to admit it) my sexual ability has dramatically gone down. The urge is there but won't stay long.

E.D or Errection dysifunction can be for various reasons. One of diabetes attacking our internal organs is E.D included. But do not worry, You can get out of the problem. You can take viagara or other pills prior to having sex or certain pressure equiptments available to create vacum in your penis and then get errected for as long as you want. Also a tube is inserted permanently with a pump to operate. This way whenever you want to have sex, pump air inthe internal tube and keep it as long as you can.
However you cannot decide which one u want. Go to your diabetolgist and discuss. Depending on your diabetic condition he will suggest a system suitable for you.

No - but diabetes can have a direct effect on your sexual performance. If you have had diabetes for any length of time - you know the complications and why. If you don't know - go to WEB MD online and research it.

So far as I know, high blood sugar has more to do with impotence than using insulin.

I do not know personally. I have heard it said on Television that it can. They also are promoting a type of drug that will help that.
