The temple of God dwells in our body, soul, and spirit. Our physical as well as our spiritual realm is the window of the dweller inside. Whatever we do to our body we are doing it to God. Whatever comes out from our mouth..whatever our thoughts..whatever our consciouness...it mirror how we respect and love the ONE inside us.

Since we are the temple of God..we should respect our body...think of heavenly thoughts...and protect our soul from eternal destruction.

We should try to be perfect as God the dweller is perfect.

The body is the temple of human soul.
The existence of the One True God is far greater beyond the human soul that no man can describe or imagine.
Man cannot know God directly, but only through God's Divine Messengers.

If you allow Him to he will take up residence yes. However he can only stand and knock. It is for you the individual to let Him in. However since something must inhabit the temple, I would hope God would be what you fill the temple with, for if you leave any spaces or cracks you give satan a place to plant a foothold.

The body is a temple, but it is of God meaning, God created all things. It is our spirits that live there. Consciousness, morality, and the ability to desire progression is the evidence that we are more than a bunch of randomly organized cells.

Does that mean that God lives in mass murderers and such too?

Sorry, that wasn't an answer...

Last time I looked inside my body it was a bloody mess, not what I'd think of as a temple.

That is what Jesus told us. I doubt if he was lying.

God can not be found in a building called a church or on a far off cloud called heaven.

He will only be found exactly where Jesus said that he was. Within each and every one of us.

There are many such expressions which refer to the "spirit"
in us. The "godlike" being. The Kingdom is IN YOU!
When we look at others, we usually only see one thing at a
time. The eyes, nose, mouth. next time you look at someone,
take their whole face in at once, and see the light in them. The GLOW!
