Dears:
in my opinion, inside wear is much better than outside one.
free yourself of being dressed well, just be yourself and that makes you more ohnist.

Depending on where the date is, if it was to the cinema then onto a pub afterwards for a bite to eat then I have gone for a decent pair of jeans, pretty top and a pair of boots. I love wearing heeled boots with long jeans, and my now boyfriend thinks it looks sexy.
If I was taken somewhere formal like a posh resturant, I should have been so lucky, then something stylish with a hint of sexuality like an ankle length dress that is backless. So you can look stunning without having everything hanging out on show like meat in a butchers shop window.

If I ever do have a boyfriend again, which is pretty hard to say as I just went through a painful break-up and I still love my ex, I'd wear a lace off-white dress I have, or maybe a prom looking dress if I get one by then (I'm not in school, I'm 30! LOL!) I'd wear special occasion gloves, and dressy shoes. As for him, makes no difference if he's dressed up or casual. If I come to be serious about him, I'd love to see him dressed up sometimes.

It actually depends on where me and my date is going to on our first date. Since I usually don't spend more than $40 on the first few dates, there won't be too much extravagant dress required. Regardless, I do like to dress neat and appropriate in clothes that is clean and good repair.

That depends entirely on where. Is it a lot of walking and riding rollercoasters? Is it a bookstore cafe? Is it in the evening for dancing and dinner? Where is the date? First date, meet should be casual with casual attire:
Jeans and blouse with jacket.

if your that paranoid that you have to ask people to respond nicely... then that means you should not be asking your question. you say its a first date, but then you ask how about your love. how can there possible be love on a first date.. meaning, since it is your first date, you have not had it yet, since you still do not know what to wear. but you mention love.. to be frankly. grow up and get the you know what out of here. bla bla bla

casual dress for me...jeans, dress boots, long sleeve shirt. I would hope she would do the same. It's not you're getting married, or going to prom or anything.
