so far i think you are handling it very well by yourself. my father has type 2 also. what you'll want to do is continuing to not eat junk foods and sodas. replace your sugar with splenda. your coke for diet coke. but take those substitutes occasionally. start eating a lot of veggies and salad and eat fish. take a protein shake along with your diet and excercise to keep muscle and less fat. you should feel really healthy.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

If you're finding your blood sugar is TOO LOW when you eat right, it's time to talk to your doctor about reducing the dosage on your meds or giving you a different prescription. The whole idea in eating right is so that we don't have to keep taking high dosages or, with luck, can get off meds all together.

Eat a low carb diet and, when you do eat carbs, eat complex carbs like raw vegetables. Avoid white sugar, bread, stuff like that.

I see some other posts have suggested avoiding meat but I'm Typle II and I eat a ton of meat, I just opt for lean cuts. It really helps me to avoid feeling hungry and avoiding binges. I've learned that when my sugar starts going down, I get jittery and lose all my willpower. Meat keeps me stabilized.

The exercise is a good idea, too! Check your BG right before you exercise and after. I do that and found a weird thing. Exercise actually raises my blood sugar level. But I still work out.

Never go to bed with your blood sugar below 120 or maybe even 150 because you don't want it going too low when you're asleep.

Good luck in managing your diabetes!

Make sure you are following the American Diabetic Diet and going for follow-up with your doctor. He may need to adjust your medications. Also, you need a balance of foods as suggested in the food pyramid. complex carbohydrates, proper amount of proteins, a small amount of fats, plenty of veggies a fruits. Remember, fruits have a high sugar content, so stay within ADA guidelines. Keep M&M's or glucagon on hand in case the blood sugar drops too low. If accessible, you can also use OJ with sugar mixed in. Once the sugar comes back up, eat a sandwich that has some protein in it to prevent a hypoglycemic rebound from the sugar.
