It is very simple. God glorifies and sanctifies his name by removing those who do not glorify his name, or worship himself YHWH/Jehovah.
The word BOTH refers to "two times," that are similar, namely world judgment.
What judgment did God execute '2 times?'
It is simple, with scientific evidence in the earth, and many scriptures hidden in context,...
There were 2 world wide floods, that were judgment from God on corrupted worlds.
Everyone is familiar with the story of Noah. Only one man on the earth at that time worshipped and glorified God. An imperfect man, whom God desired to save.
He of course, was a descendant of Adam and Eve, two physically perfect people who willfully decided to challenge God's rulership. The penalty was death within that 1,000 year day. All their children now inherited sin, with sickness and death as effects of imperfection.
Mankind was also deferred to Satan as the god of this world. Until the NEW KING would be installed. Jesus is now that King.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first flood over a corrupt earth was an untold number of years ago.
From Scripture, it appears that, the first Garden of Eden, was earth wide, with perfect people. A specific cherub was caretaker of this first earth.
Isaiah 14:12-15 shows how he, the shining one, the son of the dawn, decided to set himself up as God. He planned to take a seat in heaven, and resemble God with angels serving him. On earth he eventually began to mislead nations, he made kingdoms rock, overthrew cities.
At his time there were also many perfect people who did not join in this rebellion. Things were so corrupted, God decided to ruin the earth for judgment.
He in is infinite power and wisdom, also planned to save the faithful ones. He gave these spirit bodies and brought them to heaven, before he brought the first flood.
We can see glimpses of these in these 2 scriptures;
Acts3:21 whom heaven indeed must hold within itself until the times of RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS,
Acts 3:21...con't..TIMES OF RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS, of which God spoke through the mouth of his HOLY PROPHETS OF OLD TIMES.
The holy prophets were the perfect humans who were holy from perfection, physical and spiritual. The Old Times also refers to a time before Adam and Eve.
Prophets since Adam and Eve are just called prophets as they are not perfect.
Also, Luke 1:70 just as he through the mouth of his HOLY PROPHETS from *of OLD,* has spoken, 71) of a salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all those hating us,..
So, a long time after the first flood we see Genesis 1:2 pick up with;
Now, the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep, and God's active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.
We can also see this time period called the RE-CREATION, at Matthew 19:28 Jesus said to them; "Truly I say to you, In the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down upon his glorious throne, ...
Matthew 19:28 con't ..you who have followed me will also yourselves sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
So God ...BOTH ...in 2 world floods,.....GLORIFIED HIS NAME AND WILL GLORIFY IT AGAIN.
How? Right now, God's name Jehovah is being used by many Christians. Some of these are profaning his name, by willfull sinning and teaching lies.
They must be removed, as the house of Esau, persons not appreciating sacred things. (Zechariah 5;3,4)
Afterward, YHWH will pour out his spirit on the House of Israel.
So, NOW we are waiting for God to glorify his name, as Jesus brought out in the Lord's prayer, at Matthew 6:9.
So, a warning was given almost 3 weeks ago, that in *40* days, this judgment would begin on the house of God, as brought out in 1 Peter 4:17, and..
also, Luke14:17 And he (Jesus) sent his slave out, at the hour of the evening meal, to the invited ones, 'Come, things are now ready.'
Mark 4:21 And he (Jesus) went on to say to them; "A lamp is not brought to be put under a measuring basket or under a bed is it? Is it not? 22) For there is NOTHING hidden, except for the PURPOSE of being exposed, nothing has been carefully concealed but for the purpose of coming into the open.
Whoever has ears to listen, let him listen, let him LISTEN.
Praise and Glory to Jehovah/YHWH the God of the Universe!!
Hail Jesus, the King of the Universe, earth's new King, as Satan is abyssed.
Welcome his wife, an angel, the Queen of the Universe.
Honor Jehovah's anointed Elijah, Scott Stapp.
John 4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is for me to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work."
Matthew 25:32 "And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people, one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.
Jesus is referring to the character of GOD.
THAT IS THE COMPLETION OR TRINITY.
his "name" is the issue here.
or claims call it.
not only is Jesus the messiah, behold the lame of God that taketh away the sins of the world, but again, after he is resurrected, he will be glorified again, THUS SHOWING HIS GLORY ONCE AGAIN. =)
VERY GOOD QUESTION. -LIVE4TRUTH =]
