I was hospitalized earlier this year with anemia. After 2 units of blood it was discovered have had type II with neuropathy for about 10 years (readings over 500). Neuropathy in both legs from the hips down. Readings are now down to 100-120 with diet and oral medication. Question, can neuropathy also affect a persons testicles? Am on a county hospital plan so some issues seem to get side stepped.

I believe neuropathy can affect any part of the body. If you have it to the extent that it goes all the way to the hips, I say yes, it is very much possible because your hips are right in line with your genitals. Sorry for your troubles. I hope you continue to get better. It shouldn't have taken so long to be diagnosed. Good luck.

You should check out How to Prevent and Treat Diabetes with Natural Medicine, by Mike Murray, It is full of good advice and discussion.
Lipoic acid 300-600 mg a day is used in Europe to treat neuropathy. Some cases get benefit from high dose B-vitamin complexes. Monavie juice seems to help a significant number of diabetics with many of their problems related to the disease.
Good luck!
