Tepín, pronounced tay-peen.
Tepín peppers are part of a family of wild peppers known as bird's peppers, or chiltepins.
Habaneros are most likely more available at the market though.

The only way to make the hottest chilli in the world is to add Habanero pepper to it, but depending on the amount of chilli you have , 1 gallon, etc. if you want that amount put in one teaspoon of habanero, should be extremely warm.. dont overdo it though.

Pick just about any chili recipe you like, then add HABANERO peppers to it. There is only one other pepper I have ever heard of that is supposed to be hotter than habanero, but I don't remember the name of it. I don't like stuff that hot, but my husband says the habanero is the hottest he has ever eaten, and still has a good flavor too.

For the hottest chili in the world along with jalapenos peppers add either red savina peppers or Dave's insanity hot sauce-you can got to his web site for more info but be careful with the red savina-use it whole and don't use more than two.

The hottest chili or the hottest chile pepper? If it's the hottest chile pepper, it's the tepín, not the habeñero savina, the tepín.

For the hottest chilli, the more the scoville units, the hotter, so I suppose you could add a habañero to it, any more and you'll just ruin your tongue.

Scotch Bonnet and white habaneros are two of the hottest.

Its said it is the habanero, but its not true. I grow and eat a lot of types and the pequin is hotter. Also, ornamental peppers are WAY hotter than habaneros. Thai dragons are pretty mean too,

habanero or "scotch bonnets" are definately the hottest pepper in the world!

Be careful, they're cute but dangerous!

If that one tourist trap south of Phoenix didn't burn down, you could load it up with some really potent novelty hot sauces. They had a whole room dedicated to salsa and hot sauce.
