There are pills (claritin zyrtec) and injections, but I think your question is actually about how you are percieved and why,, by your friend. Do you get abrasive about the issue. Remember that health is important and you can probably get him to agree to that if you wait until a time when he is having a good time. People who do not have allergys really just do not understand and say things like it's all in your head to which I usually reply yeah and it is about to cause an explosion can I use your sleeve to relieve the pressure ya know since it is only in my head. The car is the worst place for allergys perhaps if you tried playing with doggypoo outside on the lawn you would be less affected and might trivialise the charge that you do not like the the big flea riden person licker. Bathing the dog helps and labs love water so a bath and a romp on the lawn followed by playing with the dog might make everybody happy.

Different types of prescription are available. The kinds for indoor allergies may be appropriate in your case. Also, some of the prescription nasal sprays are easy to use - you just need to spray once a day, instead of taking pills, and doing this everyday will help prevent allergies. You can take allergy shots - it usually takes at least a year or two and it's not always effective, but taking the shots will build your resistance to allergens.

We need to do a allergy check on you. First I start by pricking your skin in the back we do 50 of these. You can be allergic to molds, grasses, cat, dog, roaches, feather, mites. If any of these are maybe's then I will prick your skin by needle in your arms. We can test for alot of differernt things including bee's and black ants and foods such as tomato, peanut butter, shrimp. Are you ready to get started. And if you are allergic to any of these I would love to get you allergy injections.

Have yourself tested with his dander, if you need to prove it to him. If the dog is the problem, you can take shots monthly that will help relieve symptoms related to the dander. If you don't want to do that, show the results to him and at least you can say you weren't joking.
