I lost 6 pounds in about a week and a half. A very strict diet indeed. If I'm hungry at night, I just go to sleep. :) And when I get up in the morning, I have a light breakfast.

I've been also exercising about 5-6 times a week for 1 hour each time. If, today, I have General Tsao Chicken, Pork Fried Rice and Egg rolls, will I become fat again? Will my skin become uneven because of this meal? It's just soooo tempting :-) Help me out!

One meal won't ruin your diet. If you're still concerned, there are plenty of better choices you can make with chinese food. General Tso's chicken is made with breaded, fried pieces of chicken. I would look for a dish that had more vegetables and a meat that was not fried. Ask your server...they may be willing to use General Tso's sauce on some vegetables and tofu. I would get plain steamed brown rice, instead of fried rice and dumplings instead of egg rolls. If you can making those changes won't quench your craving for chinese food, you're best off to splurge and order what you like. Then continue your exercise and diet, afterwards.

By "dieting" so strictly, what you have done is to temporarily supress your metabolic rate, leading to the rapid loss of (mostly water) weight. When you resume normal eating, your metabolism will not return all the way to its former rate, so you will put "fat" on faster. Strict dieting is counterproductive, stresses your organs, and is not very bright.

Eat normal food, just not as much of it. And get plenty of excercise. And drink lots of water.

Good girl, that's awesome. Congrats on your weight loss!
You gotto keep going I guess until you reach your goal. But I don't thinks it's that bad to cheat once. After all you're not gonna eat the whole menu. But promise me you won't cheat often, only eeeeeeeeeeevery once in a while :)

Just eat meat and vegetables...don't eat rice and egg noodles or egg rolls Gene. tsao chicken is first fried and it also has breading...so you could eat a nice stir fry with meat and vegetables...

good luck on your weight loss

It might not kill your diet, but the monosodium glutamate (MSG)might just kill you! Most Chinese food is full of MSG and it is very detrimental to your health.
