It doesnt really hurt just feels strange. Its hard to even describe the feeling except just that I know something feels weird and out of the ordinary. My pulse rate seems fine so I dont know what it could be. Sometimes i guess it could be described as a feeling like i put vicks rub or icy hot on my chest. I am 27 years old so I wouldnt think it would be a heart attack related. Any ideas?

Depending on whether the pain is surface (skin and tissue pain) or deep pain, there could be many different causes.
Surface pain - muscle strain, infection, bruise
Deep pain - pneumonia, bronchitis, inflamed lymph node
Is it near your breast tissue (guys have breasts too), it could be an inflammation of the glandular tissue in the breast
Have it checked out, 27 is young but stuff happens to young people too.

We are not cardiologists.
27 years old is not too young to have a cardiac problem.
Some people were born with heart problems that didn't show up for years.
We want to keep you around for at least another 50 years.

It could be some type of nerve damage causing these sensations. I would make a phone call to your Dr. and tell them what your are experiencing. They will tell you if you need to be seen. Good luck!!!

heart disease knows no age limit. you could have some arterial blockage, either from diet, or heredity, in either case you should see a cardiologist, it could also be anxiety. but a Dr will be able to determine that. don't wait..

panic attack you dont have to be panicky to have one or even be that stressed out stop smokeing if you do and cut back on caffine
