When my dad was having a heart attack, he said it felt like an elephant sitting on his chest. Worst pain I have ever seen him in.
See your doctor. you may have acid reflux which my father mistook for the start of another heart attack 2 years after his actual heart attack. So the symptoms must be close.

Three main symptoms of a heart attack:
1. Pressure or pain in the centre of the chest, lasting more than a few minutes or going away and coming back
2. Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms
3. Chest discomfort combined with light-headedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath
Other common warning signs of heart attack include unusual chest, stomach or abdominal pain, nausea or dizziness, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, unexplained anxiety, weakness or fatigue, palpitations, cold sweat or paleness.
In the case of diabetic patients, no cardiac pain will be felt and it is known as "silent attack".
Please see the webpages for more details on Heart attack.

Yours is not heart attack, or you wouldn't be sitting at your pc. I had that too, but I don't know what it is. Don't worry it will go away. And come back again.

hurts. a lot.

shooting pains up and down your left arm and into your chest. difficulty breathing. blurred vision. faint smell of ammonia.

if you're lucky. that's only a mild/moderate one.

the really big bangers just hit you like a ton of bricks and you're history....
