i've already tried joanns, michaels, cake/candy decorating stores, pretty much everywhere everyone's already named. i need an actual company who sells just the sticks

I don't know where you live, but where I live, I could get them at either Michael's, which is a large craft store. They have a cake decorating /candy making section. I would also be able to get them at Lynn's, which is an exclusive cake decorating/candy making store. You should check your local phone book to see if you have a decorating supply store near you. Also, check online.

You can get sturdy paper and plastic sticks at cake decorating supply stores/aisles. If you can't find the wood, they may work for you.
