That is the nature of herpes. Its symptoms do not always appear, but the virus is still there...invisible to the eye.

They are playing with fire!! The person has to sleep with the other person when they have a flair up of the disease. The HIV virus sits into an infected persons body for 10 yrs before they ever know what hits them. The person should go and have a blood test to see if the herpes virus is in their blood .
