No! You'll have a better chance guessing their last name....If we could see this, then that disease would be obsolete....

NO and even scarier is the fact that many treatment drugs are also allowing persons to show a (false) negative HIV test when they are indeed positive. So someone who is receiving drug therapy for being positive could honestly say they just tested negative for HIV. Sadly trust is beyond a consideration these days...just protect yourself
Further many symptoms are unnoticeable with HIV and not detected until you have full blown aids. Keep in mind HIV or AIDS does not kill you, however it will zap or weaken your immune system allowing some other disease process such as pneumonia, cancer, brain tumors etc. to take your life

NO!!!!!! You cannot tell just by looking.
You may notice these things in a person that is HIV positive but it isnt a good guide to go by. Dont have unprotected sex. Dont have sex at all actually. Abstinence is the only way to prevent the disease............................!
(((extreme weakness or fatigue
rapid weight loss
frequent fevers that last for several weeks with no explanation
heavy sweating at night
swollen lymph glands
minor infections that cause skin rashes and mouth, genital, and anal sores
white spots in the mouth or throat
chronic diarrhea
a cough that won't go away)))

Actually to all those ignorant ppl who answered no, as a matter of fact you can, not completely obviously, the final proof are blood tests, but there are lots of phisycal signs that can lead to think if the person is positive or not, for exampe, ppl with a lot a fat in their torso, but with very skinny face, arms and legs could be one, acne at a very advanced age too, very profound mouth ulcers or oral thrush, STDs present in mouth, Kaposi's Sarcoma, all of this obviously in a person who has been very sexually active with multiple partners.
You can never be sure if a person is infected or not. The best recomendation I can give you is talk to your partner (if it is he u suspect) about all ur concerns and ALWAYS use protection, no matter what type of sex you are having (this meaning oral, vaginal or anal) it doesnt matter, STDs are transmitted by any form of these.
If it is someone else other than ur partner, you cant know for sure either, as I said, all I mentioned could be physical signs, but you can never know.

No, but I remember that back when the HIV/ AIDS breakout occured in the 80's and early 90's you could tell when someone had full blown AIDS when they were super skinny and had lesions on their faces and body.

Yes, however physical symptoms do not appear for a while. A gauntness and anorexia. A deathly palor of the skin. These do not show up for quite a while (a few years) so stay away from deviant people.

i am sure you have gotten lots of response on this one but you can not tell by looking at a person they have aids that is why it is very important to stay protected. if that were the case then aids would not be so widespread.

No but you can tell if they have been taking AZT. AZT is what causes the symptoms which most people associate with "AIDS", it has been called death by prescription.
