I love them both...but with a little attention to detail - your recipe could have looked like THIS...

Does any one like cooked cabbage or curries.?

Ingredients:
One small (or half a large) cabbage - cut into half inch slices
1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon of shredded coconut
1/4 teaspoon of mustard seed
1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
Curry (or bay) leaves
1 finely chopped clove of garlic
1 tablespoon of oil
Salt to taste

METHOD
Over a low flame, heat oil in non stick pan.
Add onion, leaves, mustard seeds, coconut and stir well.
Add remaining ingredients and stir.
Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Stir well, season to taste and serve with rice or fish.

Now THAT looks like something I would cook!

SORRY...I do know I'm pedantic -

this recipe actually sounds like just the sort of thing we would enjoy.

Thanks for sharing.

I love cooked cabbage, and I love curries. However, I'd definitely miss out the coconut in your recipe (bleuurrggh!), and add half a dragon chilli. And probably add a lot more veggies!

I only eat curries if I make them or if my husband makes them and I know what is in them.
We grow our own veg and produce a lot so we freeze a lot for the winter.
I love cabbage but hate sprouts.
