Is it true that I have a 50/50 chance of having a baby? I was diagnosed of having Rheumatic Fever since I was 9 yrs old. I stopped my monthly injection of Penadur 1.2 for 2years already because my test results shows NEGATIVE. Will it still come back?

My understanding of Rheumatic fever is that it will have no effect on your reproductive capabilities. It DOES, however leave you at a high risk for heart problems (including congential heart failure). Therefore, the concern may not be on whether or not you can have a kid, but whether or not your heart is strong enough to withstand pregnancy and child-birth.

Rheumatic fever is NOT related to fertility and does not affect you chances of becoming pregnant, but it might complicate a pregnancy if you had damage to your heart initialy.
the incidence of RF is higher if you have had it in the past but that does not mean that you will definitely have it.

It seems you have a doctor of voodoo medicine. Now you need to go to a doctor who actually studied medicine. The fifty-fifty can be tossed out of the window. Your chances are the same as other females your age and health normalcy.
