It really depends on the type of neuropathy that you're referring to. Peripheral neuropathy tends to affect the extremities i.e. hands, feet, lower legs, and it depends on how the neuropathy is affecting you. Is it painful neuropathy, or desensitisation?
Painful neuropathy can often be treated with a number of different methods ... medication (which is often prescribed for other conditions), wearing, believe it or not, plastic bags on your feet. This tends to pass with time.
Desensitisation tends to be more 'long-term' and is unlikely to recover any time soon. Having said that, I've had this type of effect for some 20 years now, and have recently started sensing some feeling in areas of my feet.
Autonomic neuropathy tends to affect things that happen 'automatically' ... the sort of thing that you have little or no control over, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, erectile performance, bowel control, postural hypotension, etc. This, sadly, tends not to be treated very effectively with any of today's drugs.

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

Actually, I heard of using Vicks Vapor Rub on the affected limbs/areas. I told my mother in law about it and it worked good for her.

Peripheral neuropathy? Diabetic neuropathy? No, it can be controlled, if those are what you're talking about, but not cured.
