NONE sweetheart, don't worry! There has to be BLOOD to BLOOD interaction. They'll be fine. You be safe, OK? Take care. P.S. Chances are, this lady does not even have HIV in the first place.. but what probably happened to your friend was that the lady pinched her so hard, she developed a blood blister, more or less. And you see, that's a good thing, because that means the skin was NOT punctured at all. But let's say for argument's sake that it was punctured a tiny bit (which it wasn't, because she formed like a blood blister). This lady who pinched her would then also have to be bleeding to even give her the CHANCE of contracting it. There must be blood to blood contact. And I don't mean dried up blood from yesterday on the lady's unwashed hands or anything, I mean FRESH blood, because the HIV/AIDS virus dies off pretty quickly when it is exposed to the elements. It can't live outside the body for long AT ALL. So again, don't worry.. I'm sure everything will turn out just fine. Don't stress yourself out over this.

No.
First of all the needle has to be contaminated. Second, orthodox view is that the virus does not last in open air.
Most importantly, there have been only three confirmed cases of HIV among medical professionals by needle stick and these have been controversial to say the least. Imagine the amount of needle sticks that occur in medicine every year hundreds of thousands and there have been only 3 cases.

relax you probably dont have hiv. the virus cannot survive longer than 3 minutes outside the human body anyway and even if the needle was infected, it didnt bleed so it couldnt have got into ur system. If you are still scared get tested but the chances are really tiny.

dont worry...you are 100% safe. HIV doesntg survive on the tip of the needle. It normally survives in hypodemic needles that are used to draw blood because the are hollow. Stitching needles are a different story, they cannot transmit the virus.
also, u didnt bleed, so nothing has entered ur blood stream
relax, u r fine

you need to know if that needle came into contact with someone afflicted with HIV when i say contact i mean it should have punctured their skin or come into contact with their body secretions or liquids like blood , semen , vaginal juices or saliva. if it did or you have no way of knowing if it did or not then you have a very very small chance ( less than 1%) of being infected even if you didnt bleed. the chances increase with the depth of the wound , amount of blood involved and length of time of contact and even though all this was minimum in your case their is still a remote possibility of you catching the virus. it would be best to get yourself tested no matter how small the chances are. if you positively know that the needle never came into contact with an infected person then you should be fine. however like i said if you cant verify it than get yourself tested. another thing is that in the event that you were infected ( God forbid ) then it takes roughly about 3 - 6 months of incubation for the HIV to multiply enough in a new person to be detected in the testing so it would be best to wait a while before getting tested however you should consult with a physician and explain them your situation. doctors are suppossed to keep patient information confidential by law under most countries of the world and in your case since it hasnt been verified anyway , you should be fine till you get tested. also it might be hard but still till you get tested it would be best to avoid sexual contact of any type with anyone. though the chances of you being infected are low , if you are then the chances of you infecting someone else are high regardless of you being infected just recently as this is the phase when the virus is actively multiplying in your body. consult a physician quickly and he/she should be able to tell you exactly what you need to do and when exactly you should be tested to get an accurate result.

hey..its the comman doubt each gets when they get pricked by a needle.needle prick injuries are one of the mode of transmission of hiv.but its not the major mode of transmission.1 in 1000 person may get infected by hiv due to needle prick that too if its a hollow needle like v use for injections.if its a solid needle then the chances are much much rare...so dont worry.even if u get a test done now it wont be positive as it requires minimum 6 months to become positive for the test.just forget and enjoy.you are not infected

No, I don't think so because the piercing a needle that is used for injection can cause that not the sewing needle. So don't afraid. If you feel uncomfortable then test your blood in the blood testing center to be conformed of it.

Best advice is of course see a doctor or clinic. Being tested is nothing to be afraid of because many people do it everyday. You are obviously concerned enough to place your question here, but why not go get a test instead of working yourself into a frenzy??? The added stress will not help this situation
