Quitting smoking is not at all easy...doing it abruptly can cause dry mouth, and you chill..You can start by reducing 1 to 2 sticks In a day...slowly as days go by...try to cut more in a day until you will just end up breathing well...Hey...quitting Smoking is all in you...you have to stay focus...Because "SMOKERS DONT GROW OLD,THEY JUST DIE YOUNG."..it's not too late..
start it now....go go go go go..it's very hard to have a COPD..take care always....HEALTH IS WEALTH....

You're young. Quitting is going to be easier now than at any other time in your life. To answer your question, not all but, mostly. It takes about two weeks for your body to shed the chemical and about another three or four months for your lungs to get rid of the tar buildup. Until then you are going to go nuts needing to do something to do with your hands. Good Luck Kid!!

Quitting smoking is easy! I did it with out a problem, but every person is different. I do not allow smoking in my house, and did not smoke in others homes when I did smoke. Just have to find something that is positive that interest you more than smoking. Hope that this helps!

Hi, I commend you for wanting to quit. I quit smoking 16 years ago. I was determined, that's the key. As much as i liked smoking, equally i hated it. You are only 15. It will be much easier for you to quit now, than when your my age. I did a lot of praying that God would help me, and i know he did. But I'm not going to lie to you. It's not going to be easy. There are times when your going to want to scream. But remember , you are a lot bigger than that cigarette. I know you can do it.

no, it is not only in the mind......it is a nicotine addiction....talk to your doctor and see if it is safe to use the patch???? they are not inexpensive but certainly worth it if your parents will help buy them.....that way you go off slowly...
