What do you do to combat this side effect? I am tired of this weak squeaky voice and chronic sore throat. I limit my use of Advair because of this to once every couple of days instead of 2 times a day, but still the voice problem and mild sore throat come and go for days.

Dysphonia is listed as a "common" side effect. I knew kids who refused to use it because of the changes to their voice.

i'm supposed to be on advair, so i won't use my albuterol inhaler so much. I won't take the advair though, there are so many side effects and risk of making your asthma worse. I just use my albuterol 2 x a day. My doctor said it's not good to use it everyday, but he also said advair was safe, which is clearly not true.
