Since Jesus and God act in one accord it means they work for the same purpose but are separate individuals. The holy spirit is God's active force that is accomplishing God's purposes. They are not one and the same thing but work together to accomplish something. Example for holy spirit is when they all became filled with holy spirit at pentacost in 33 CE.

There was opposition over the years about the trinity or the idea that Jesus was God. Roman Emporer Constantine summoned the bishops together at Nicaea and only a fraction of the 300 invited attended. The discussion was precided, and guided by constantine himself to decide the formula of the relationship of Christ to God. He propsed Jesus was 'of one substance with the Father.' His main concern that religious division would divide his empire and wanted to solidify his domain. These bishops did not promote the trinity but decided the nature only of Jesus, but not of the holy spirit. Many opposed the trinity and it was many centuries before it came about; but it was with Constantine that the trinity had its vague beginnings. In all actuality the trinity was a politically voted in decision. It is to be noted that Constantine was not a christian and was not baptized untill he lay dying. The bible gives many scripture indicating that Jesus and God are not the same and are not equal.

At Jesus' baptism, we have Jehovah's voice, the holy spirit in the form of a dove, and the man Jesus.
No where in the account does it say they are the same.
No where in the acount does it say they are equal.
Does the baptism of Jesus prove the trinity?
If anything it shows they are different.
It wasn't until God's spirit entering Jesus that he was able to do the miracles he did.
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.
So Jesus can't do anything unless his Father gives him the use of His Spirit.

The actual word trinity isn't in the bible. But, when Jesus is getting baptized by John all three God heads are present. Jesus is there being baptized, the Father speaks this is my son in whom I am well pleased and the Holy Spirit is there in the form of the dove coming down on Jesus.

The word Trinity is not in the Bible, however;
Trinity:
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.)

No, the word trinity isn't in the Bible. And aren't three gods because contradict the frist commandment. Only the lack of wisdom of people put it like that and the luck of divine revelation from God. Is one God acting in three different manners. In Old Testament, acting in the dispeansation of Father, in the New Testament acting in His Son: "In Him dwelt bodly the entire divinity, All the power in heaven and earth was given to me, All that seen Me seen the Father, I and Father are One.) And after He rose from the death He came to live in His people like Holy Ghost, as He promised before: I will send out another Comforter... The true baptism is find in Act 2:38, because Peter has the keys of heaven, Jesus give it to him in Matthew 16. Peter said there: "Repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Chirst for the remission of the sin..." Is not atoher Name under haven in which we are saved. If the true baptism is in the Name of Father, Name of the Son, Name of the Holy Ghost, what is this Name? Because neither one of this is not a name. Father, Son are function, like i'am a brother, and Holy Ghost is what it is.

The 'Trinity' is simply God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Ghost, all referred to in the Great Commission (Matt:28:19). The easy way I think of it presently is they are a team (one). (John 10:30)

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.
John 1:1-2
The word is a metaphor for Jesus.
I realize you'd really like to discredit traditional belief but it's just so hard to argue with the thousands of respected theologians that fully disagree with you. The Church is a 2000 year old establishment and the Trinity is one of the foundational beliefs.
Go throw rocks somewhere else.

the word is not in the Bible, however if you read the Bible you will see that there are 3 entities in one. the father (God), the son (Jesus) and the holy spirit. all three are a part of one God head.
Jesus said "if you have seen me, you have seen the Father, my father and I are one"
we are a trinity too...
you have a body
you have a spirit
you have a soul.. yet you are one......correct?

The term Christian means christ like and a faith based on the training of Christ/Jesus did no longer extremely exist in the process the Biblical situations. in spite of the fact that Acts easily alludes to changing human beings to the perception that Jesus grew to become into the Messiah. of path Acts grew to become into written interior the 2nd century.

Trinity is a man made word for a Christian idea. The same as Rapture. You will find neither word written in the Bible, but people have given these a name to help clarify the ideas expressed.
