Once you are done with your meds and not showing any symtoms you should be safe to resume your sex life, however as others have already stated, if your partner wasn't treated he could give it back to you.
Also, let this be a warning sign, it could have be something not curable with a pill.

Ok...first of all sex should be the last thing on your mind, especially if they person you wanna have sex with again is the person that gave you the chlamydia in the first place. Ummm.. seriously get a clue. STD's are no joke even the less serious sounding ones can lead to more serious things like infertility and even death.

I'am not a fan of "chlamydia". I have read that there are no symptoms for the carrier, normally female. What is chlamydia, compared to the other female diseases? Since I divored in 1985 I have not had an outbreak of "herpes"; but the virus is still in my blood according to what I have read. I guess "herpes" is for life.
We never talked about it when we were married but she would have about three, or four giant fever blisters during the year. I would have "blisters" appear that would last about seven days. Went to Urologist and he said I had herpes, and what I told him about my wife he said I got it from her. Herpes free since 1985.
Let me knock on wood...

Ask your doctor - if you do want sex though get your partner to use a condom! Nothing is worse than being held responsible for passing on a disease like that.

I'd advice you not have sex for a while. You will be contagious for a while. And if you become pregnant and are contagious at the time of birth you can pass it on to your child upon birth.

When you finish your bottle of prescription meds, you're good to go. It wouldn't be a good idea to try anything before that. Hope that helps! :)
