Your food does not complement the medicine. Drop in sugar levels are caused by insufficient food consumption when on medication. The same goes to high sugar level.

Diabetes is such a serious matter. You need to see your doctor and get some blood work done. Your doc should be able to figure out why your sugars are better. I find if the weather is really warm that my sugars can go lower due to sweating out the sugars in your body. Other than that, I am not sure why else your sugars are better like that.

Why are you changing the dosage on your medicine on your own. You could experience serious complications. Diabetes is nothing to fool around with. First get back with your doctor and get your blood tested, second follow your doctors advice with regard to medication, third see a dietitian and get on a good meal plan ( one you can live with not just live on) Medication will not do everything you must combine medication with diet and exercise. When you do all three you will get control and stay in control of your diabetes.

If you are relatively newly diagnosed, you might be going through the "honeymoon" period.

Otherwise, I can not explain this unless you lost a lot of weight or drastically altered your diet, but you'd be aware of those changes.

My father is diabetic and he has had the some thing from time to time. His Doctor has cut back one of the meds he is on and it has helped. The best thing to do is talk to your Doctor about it, you may need to change or lower your meds. Please don't stop taking them or cutting back on them without the approval of your Doctor.

There should be something more. Check your doctor immediately otherwise you may faint and fall soon.
