I am a vegetarian and have been accused of being a hippie because of this. I don't hate meat- eaters, I just don't eat meat or fish. We're just different people.

Why should we care what you put in your body? The type of food that a person eats is no reason to hate! Do you hate carnivores? It's the same ridiculous idea. And not all hippies were vegetarians. I know because I was one. We ate red meat whenever we could afford it!

Let's see here ... so you are probably 15, and you think you are "kind of a hippie" ... well first off, how many hippies do you know that are hanging out online asking stupid questions? Secondly, hippies don't typically judge people. Now in 2 weeks when your "kind of a hippie"-whatever wears off and you are eating a cheeseburger look yourself in the mirror and ask what you really stand for?

Uhh no. I myself am a lacto-ovo vegetarian and even when I wasn't I didn't dislike vegetarians. I think that's just dumb. I respect what each and every person decides to do even if I do not agree.

No - I just feel so very sorry for them. Because of some misinformation or something stupid someone else taught or convinced them of, these poor people limit themselves to a restrictive unhealty diet. They have to overplan everything to ensure they get enough of the basic "building" blocks of life in a "diet". We just feel so Very Very Sorry for them. God gave us two kinds of teeth in our mouths to eat both meat and vegetable. I would think it is a little smarter to follow God's example than that of some nut that says "don't" eat meat. Your choice and we don't hate you. We do feel very very very very very sorry for you in your misguided life.
