I don't think you should eat grass. It is around 100% cellulose, which nearly all of it can't be digested by our bodies. That's why you eat fruits and vegetables instead...

And yes, some grasses are sharp on the edges, so be careful.

You mean splinters? I know that some grass can give you a cut, similar to a paper cut, but if you chew it up, it wouldn't. Why would you eat grass?
