My son is going to be 1, I have the gross stunts down pat. I just need help with the physical one. Also any cake ideas would be great!!

Check out the link below for MANY descriptions of other people's fear factor birthday parties. My co-worker's daughter just had one this weekend, and the kids have really been looking forward to it.

However, is your question a typo? Did you mean to say your son is going to be 10, not 1? Because if he's going to be 1, you shouldn't be having a fear factor birthday party.

How about walking on a 2x4 board over a mud pit or child's swimming pool? Put rubber snakes, rubber grasshoppers, and rubber frogs in the water.

Many of the rental "moonwalks" now have other activities such as a basketball goal, etc. I would check with a rental company to see which of these inflatable games they offer, then build a physical challenge based on this because it should be the safest thing you could do.

an easy and safe one would be have them jump off a ladder or something up high onto a bed. gets them over the fear of hieghts and is safe.
