In other words, can anyone tell me what foods were eaten at festivals (or anytime really) in Ancient Egypt and Ancient Rome...or what foods are considered sacred to goddess Isis? Sometimes new age books seem to be pulling stuff out of the blue, and I'm looking for some authenticity.
Thanks for your help!

As long as you know, the goddess isis was a fake god, an idol, not real. So "she" probably had no opinion abotu food b/c "she" was an inanimate object.
