It is what we, who are diabetic, would love to have all the time. 70 to 110 is normal.

It seems to be high but use the following guidelines, also see if your mother has any urine glucose test strips too, but try to use it first thing in the morning. It is best to contact your doctor & let them check you out. My 16 year old daughter has had diabetes since she was 2, and she can tell you that you can lead a normal life with diabetes, a lot of things have changed over the years & she can eat anything she wants with moderation & takes shots based on what she eats. I hope you don't have diabetes, but if you do it is not the end of the world. Normal Fasting Blood Sugar A normal fasting blood sugar (which is also the blood sugar a normal person will see right before a meal) is: 83 mg/dl or less. Many normal people have fasting blood sugars in the mid and high 70 mg/dl range. Though most doctors will tell you any fasting blood sugar under 100 mg/dl is "normal", there are several studies that suggest that testing with a fasting blood sugar in the mid 90 mg/dl range often predicts diabetes that is diagnosed a decade later. Post-Meal Blood Sugar (Postprandial) Independent of what they eat, the blood sugar of a truly normal person is: Under 120 mg/dl one or two hours after a meal. Most normal people are under 100 mg/dl two hours after eating.
