HIV is very fragile. Once blood leaves the body, the environment for HIV to survive in, is threatened. If the blood was dry I doubt that you would get it. If the blood is wet the chances are better depending on the how long it was there and the conditions around the blood.

Many folk have gotten the HIV through used needles in both the streets and in the health care profession. If you have cut yourself and touched other blood that is questionable in any way get an HIV test.

Hope all is OK.

Soak the stain with the chilly water till you could tell that that's making the blood moist returned with the previous rag. Blot the soaked spot with the towel. continually use sparkling chilly water each and every time you soak the stain or you would be battling against your self. Diluted products like Spray and Wash will paintings nicely yet once you do not dilute the product then you have got the cleansing soap residue to deal with. sparkling chilly white vinegar and water is often used. Dried, set blood stains are plenty harder to do away with so that's needed to get to them right this moment!

But you should go get tested anyway, in a few months since HIV takes a while before it can be detected

HIV does not survive outside of the body. Any virus would die and would not be transmitted.
