It's called Lincolnshire Poacher and is sold at my local farmers' market. It's just full of flavour. There are three or four different types we've tried, but apparently there is also an extra-extra strong Poacher they only sell at Christmas - I hope we get to try it.

A good cheddar. We now live in France and although France has wonderful cheeses, we still miss cheddar, you can't beat it because it is so versitile, it makes the best cheese on toast, great for putting on top of Spag bol, and shepards pie. It is also the best for on crackers too (which are also rubbish here in France) When people visit we get them to bring cheddar, branston pickle, Jacobs crackers, brown sauce and t-bags!!

Ooooohhh I would love cheese on toast right now, anyone want to post me some cheese???

Im reading a book right now on the history of cheese making, facinating subject. My favorite cheese from UK would have to be Stilton. Likewise, I like Cabrales from Spain. I was in NY last xmas and had a goat cheese from France, cant remember name dangit, but it was wrapped in chestnut leaves and tasted like fresh herbs and lavendar.....simply amazing.

Boring but true. I don't live in the UK and I really miss English Cheddar. Can't beat it for cheese sauces. I have to go to Germany to get it.

Swiss Cheese. It's good for lots of recipes, and has an unique flavor to it. I like the holes, even for mini/baby Swiss.
Mozerella is second. Great on pizza, veggie lasagna, and French Onion soup.

my favourite cheese is katiki from the town of Domocos. it is a traditional Greek (yogurt-like) cheese with a little sour taste and it is excellent on bread. Also i luv feta cheese for pies.

Orkney cheese - very creamy, but also made with traditional methords, how cheese used to be made before it was mass produced. There Ice Cream and Fudge is to die for as well! (It is all made by the same creamery).

Highly recommended
