Nothing. I don't think vicodons is a word or drug or substance.

Hydrocodone or dihydrocodeinone (marketed as Vicodin, Anexsia, Dicodid, Hycodan, Hycomine, Lorcet, Lortab, Norco, Hydroco, Tussionex, Vicoprofen) is a semi-synthetic opioid. Hydrocodone is an orally active narcotic analgesic and antitussive. Sales and production of this drug have increased significantly in recent years, as have diversion and illicit use. Hydrocodone is commonly available in tablet, capsule and syrup form.

As a narcotic, hydrocodone relieves pain by binding to opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord. It may be taken with or without food. When taken with alcohol, it can intensify drowsiness. It may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, as well as other drugs that cause drowsiness. It is in FDA pregnancy category C: its effect on an embryo or fetus is not clearly known and pregnant women should consult their physicians before taking it. Common side effects include dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea, drowsiness, euphoria, vomiting, and constipation. Some less common side effects are allergic reaction, blood disorders, changes in mood, mental fogginess, anxiety, lethargy, difficulty urinating, spasm of the ureter, irregular or depressed respiration and rash.

Hydrocodone can be habit-forming , and can lead to physical and psychological addiction. In the U.S., pure hydrocodone and forms containing more than 15 mg per dosage unit are considered Schedule II drugs

I have taken Vicodin. That med is for muscle pain. I think used over a long period of time it could truly damage your liver. Also your heart is a muscle, remember that. If you are taking this medicine, eventually after time you will be addicted to Vicodin. Then your body may build up a tolerance to the drug and the drug will not have any affect on you and you will need something in a higher dosage than what you have.

I only used Vicodins when I truly need them. I don't take the entire script until gone. When the pain subsides that is when I stop taking Vicodin.

Please be very careful.

Are you asking about the pain reliever Vicodin?

There can be liver damage as Vicodin does build up in the liver. This medication is also addictive. There is an extensive list of other side effects of this medication but I am assuming if one has used it a long time that these are not an issue.

Whatever it does, it can't be good. I would think it would wreck havoc with your liver. Anyway, anything that's not natural for the body will affect it in some way. I know vicodon is a very addictive drug.

What happens to the body? It loses it's friends, family, health, money and dignity. It alientates every other body around it until no other bodies want to be around it. It ends up alone...that's what happens, among other things.

If you are talking about Vicoden and addiction to hydrocodone, it is a life long addiction to my knowledge, and usually leads to legal troubles. Like heroine or dilaudid or cocaine, the recovery rate is less than 2%.
