I think Spam is made from dead people. But I am probably wrong.
We don't have Spam where I live, and no luncheon meat either. (We do have Smac, which I think is almost the same, but I've never eaten it)

Well, personally I'd say the fact that I don't know what Spam is made of is a very very very big plus point.
It's not exactly something to be proud of, now is it?

SPAM - those letters stand for SPICED PORK AND HAM. Bit of a giveaway don't you think???
BTW - Made with pig instead of WHAT?

SPAM is luncheon meat - exactly the same - any difference in contents is due to the recipe used by the brand.

I thought SPAM, stood for Specially Processed American Meat, as it was a food source developed during the Second World War and shipped over from the US to the UK to help with the rationing

Luncheon meat includes, everything from bologna, sliced turkey and ham, anything you buy in that "section" of the grocery store and can put between two slices of bread. And as far as I know, Spam is made from chopped ham. I hate it but it's been around forever, so someone likes it.

Where are you form? Bunfuncegypt? Luncheon meat is an expression for "cold cuts" for the simple reason- we eat it for lunch-SANDWICH???? As for Spam and Spac- you can keep the two of them in Bunfuncegypt- I wouldn't feed that stuff to my dog!

Lucheon meat or cold cuts just refers to slices of cured/cooked meats (typically for sandwiches.) Bologna, ham, and smoked turkey are all examples of this. FYI, Spam is pork.

Nobody knows exactly what Spam is made of. It's one of those times when the phrase "Ignorance is Bliss" comes to mind. For information on food made from dead people, see my question below.
