It seems that the "i dont eat meat because it was alive group" wants to side with the "i live in desert and ride a camel group" Has anyone else noticed this? Both report me because I am from the south.

Far as I can tell...Arabs love goat meat...never heard of a connection between Islam and Vegan. More likely Vegans would be Buddist, Jain, Unitarian, or Ba'hia.

I'm not too sure though cause I'm from the south too...give me some BBQ'd ribs anyday!!! LOL

I'm from the South (native Floridian) and am proud to consider myself a redneck woman. I don't eat meat because my Daddy died of heart disease when he was 38 and my cholesterol went through the roof a couple years ago. I never was Muslim and wouldn't be Muslim unless something really drastic happened to my brain, probably something involving lightning or surgery. And I'm sure nobody reports you because you're from the South, but because you've been provoking people with questions like this.

No, I am a vegetarian and I am Episcopalian & I'm southern....let's see what stereotypes you can make up with that....
WTH kinda question is that anyway? Saying that all vegetarians must be of the Islam religion is like saying that if you eat donuts, then you must be a cop b/c only cops can eat donuts.
See how silly that sounds?

Hi. I am a Christian (go Summit Church!) from Arkansas (go rednecks!) and I am a vegetarian.
My cousin is muslim and eats the rear out of some cattle.

I am only a vegetarian because I saw some animals being slaughtered and it ruined me on the whole hamburger thing. Stupid peta.org website... if you like hamburgers AT ALL don't go there.

Vegetarians come in all different shapes, sizes, skin colors, nationalities, religions, political backgrounds etc. Same goes for meat-eaters and vegans.

Muslims as a whole are not vegetarian. Perhaps you should repeat the 4th grade.

No, muslims arent vegatarians. They just dont eat pork because eons ago someone decided that it was dirty and they dont like changing their minds about anything.
