We have English muffins in US but the English people do not have muffins. They have crumpets. So, crumpet.

Oh, crumpet definitely! Lovely and hot - straight out from the toaster is best - with butter melting all over the top of it. If I'm feeling really down, then a dollop of strawberry jam on the top and a mug of tea.
Yum! Have got some in the freezer, so might just have to go and get one out and throw it in the toaster....

Muffin... well i love Muffin Break muffins... crumpets are just weird, not for me. they have like dots on them and are soft and spongy and funny which i dont like, they freak me out a little!! Muffin Break muffins are nice cos they're hard on the outside but inside theyre nice and moist. and they have that just-came-out- of-the-oven sense to it... which i love.

Crumpet.... especially when the butter runs into those little dents, lashings of butter and Bel Paese cream cheese.
