I'm looking for a recipe for bonless teriyaki chicken like you would get from a japanese or chinese place that usually comes with rice you can mix into it. I don't know what it is but the sauce is dark and very sweet. There is a kind of cabbage on the bottom, not sure what it is. Stuff is like $8 for a large. Would like to make some of my own but don't know anything about sauces.

Make your own sauce, you must blend to your tastes, but using Kikkoman Soy Sauce and Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, makes an awesome almost perfect Teriyaki sauce! :)

You might add a little brown sugar and ginger to! :)

If you need to thicken the sauce, add some corn starch that you mixed in a separate dish with cold water, to the current mix/blend of soy and Worcester sauces in a pan, the corn starch must be mixed with COLD water first and then added to hot sauce mixture (hot as in stove top, not spice).

The cabbage you mention is probably "Bok choy ".
