If you are going to have a few people over... you have to try this game...its hilarious. You start by the group picking a subject...any subject... then the first person starts a story line with a question to the person next to them... then that person answers in a question form and so on and so forth... Questions can only be answered with a question. It is tongue twisting and mind boggling fun.
AN EXAMPLE > Subject : Peanut butter
First person : Did you see the size of that peanut butter jar ?
Second person : How could I miss it ?
Third peson : What do you think they will do with it ?
Forth person : Isn't it obvious ?
and etc....
It gets harder and harder, due to the human mind wanting to answer the question properly, not come up with another question... we laugh so dern hard at this game...I hope you will to. Don't forget to include some silly prizes... something as simple as a bar of soap, roll of toilet paper, even a cake mix or jar of peanut butter... just for fun !
Posting your question here should prove to be quite interesting... you should get alot of neat ideas !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! : )

Believe it or not, playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey is fun no matter how old you are. It seems lame, but it's fun to act stupid like a kid again, especially if you're 30, you just feel silly but you can have a lot of fun just from that. Of course I'm not saying to spend the whole day on it, just like.. 10 minutes?

Apples to Apples by out of the box publishing.
any number can play.
any age (that can read) can play.
there are two stacks of cards, red and green.
red cards are nouns. (many more of these)
green are adjectives.
each person gets to be the "judge" in turn. the Judge picks a green card, reads the adjective. others pick the red card in their hand that best matches it. some go for a sarcastic match, some literal. It helps to know the judge. It's a riot.
example: green card; Luscious
red cards:
peach
James Dean
a rose
a down comforter
my car
Richard Nixon
I bought one at borders for around $30, my sis got hers at target and you can find them online.

There's a game called Dirty Minds. It's a game that gives clues as to what the object is (and it's usually a clean object). But it is fun to play especially after a few drinks. You find out who has the "dirty" minds.

Game of Charades
Charades is a game of pantomimes: you have to "act out" a phrase without speaking, while the other members of your team try to guess what the phrase is. The objective is for your team to guess the phrase as quickly as possible
