No that doesn't mean that you have HIV. You should get tested just to be on the safe side. Once you have and std, it kind of makes you "open" to other things. Just because you got chlamydia, it doesn't mean you have HIV.

Chlamydia is a STI as is HIV, but having chlamydia doesn't mean you will have HIV, as you say the other person has to be infected with HIV.
Go and See your GUM Clinic and they can test you. Try not to worry and don't have unprotected sex.
If you have an STI then you probably have unprotected Sex, that is risky. All STI's are on the increase in the UK, especially amongst HETEROSEXUAL people.

Chlamydia and HIV are two separate STD's. You don't have to already have HIV to contract chlamydia, and you can have chlamyida without having HIV.
However, if you ALREADY HAVE chlamydia and have not been treated and then YOU ARE EXPOSED to HIV, you are more likely to contract HIV. That's where the confusion comes in - chlamydia only makes you more suseptible if you come in contact with HIV.
Chlamydia is curable with anti-biotics and once cured your risk to HIV is same as before.

They're two separate STD's. If the person has ONLY chlamydia, then you can't get HIV from them. If they have both STD's then you can get both.

Chlamydia has nothing to do with HIV, except unprotected sex is taking a chance on everything.
